Breathtaking Fall Destinations that Every Motorcycle Rider Should Know About

When the colours start changing, there's no better seat to watch them than the back of your ride. Mike Jacobs has picked the best places in Ontario to ride to. Enjoy!

Fall in Ontario is like no place else - our breathtaking scenery comes alive with incredible colours before winter sets in (and snowmobiling begins!

A couple of years ago I spent the first week of October on the road catching the colour shifts. The banks of the Ottawa River in Mattawa and Highway 129 in Algoma were astounding! The cooler end to the summer could lead to an earlier onset of the leaves changing so it's best to get on planning your trips sooner than later.

Below is a list of destination accommodations and routes that are suitable for touring while the fall colours are in play. Check out the Fall Colours report for the best time to ride. Or, consider adding a coastline to the equation--the ride around Lake Superior is pretty spectacular.
