Catch a flick at one of our local theatres!

Choose from three Sudbury movie theatres and their weekly specials –Every Monday and Wednesday from 6-8 pm, visit Imagine Cinemas for a luxurious movie experience. Get your movie ticket, a large popcorn and a large pop for $18 or upgrade your large pop to a mixed drink, beer or glass of wine for an extra $3. Hit up SilverCity Sudbury Cineplex on Tuesday’s for their cheap day and enjoy $9.50 ticket prices –you’ll even have money left over for a popcorn or slushy! Head to Sudbury Indie Cinema Co-op for the best independently made films and $5 tickets on Tuesday’s and Saturday mornings.

Channel your inner yogi!

Browse through the list of exciting and intriguing yoga classes for real people at Connected Living. From bountiful bodies and intro to yoga to prop and yoga for seniors, there’s a class for everyone! All are welcome at this beautiful loft studio and drop-in classes are only $15!

Make some furry (or prickly) friends!  

Learn about exotic animal species while meeting them face-to-face at Northern Exotics. Northern Exotics take in abandoned exotic animals while educating the public about the responsibility and dangers of owning exotic pets. Their collection of exotic animals include an African porcupine, a family of squirrel monkeys, a parrot, crocodiles and alligators, a variety of turtle, lizard, frog and iguana species, servals, lemurs, rabbits, chinchillas and the one of the world’s smallest monkeys –a pygmy marmoset named Mowgli!

Get crafty!

Channel your inner crafter while enjoying a beverage from the fully-licensed bar at DIY Craftery and Lounge. From water colour coasters and rustic string art to wine glass painting and bottle opener wall mounts, there are plenty of fun home-décor crafts to try for $20 –leaving you with a few extra bucks to grab a pop or a cold brew. Spend the day indoors playing your favourite board games!

Let’s Scrabbalatte Board Game Café is the perfect place to play indoors! They have over 300 board games and for $6 you have unlimited play. Open from 6pm-12am Tuesday to Sunday, enjoy a specialty drink from their menu and a savoury snack while crushing your opponent at Catan and staying on budget.

Give rock climbing a try!

Looking to try something new while staying active? ARC Climbing + Yoga has the perfect opportunity for you! Every Wednesday from 7-10 pm, come to “Open Throw”  and pay $7.50 to compete with your friends for a bull’s eye. Hike, Bike or Skate at Kivi park!

No matter the season, you’ll find great outdoor adventures at Kivi Park. Hike or bike the beautiful maintained trails in the spring, summer and fall then bring your snowshoes to explore the snowy paths through the winter months. Don’t forget to bring your skates too! Nina’s Way Skating Path is open all winter for locals and visitors to enjoy!
