Family Day and Anyday Winter Fun in Sudbury

Go Fishing
With 330 lakes in Greater Sudbury the options to find a great fishing hole are endless. Family Day weekend is one of only two weekends a year when Ontario residents can legally fish anywhere in the province without a valid license. Get out and try ice fishing this winter.

Lace up for an open air skate on the Ramsey Lake Skating Path, under the lights skating on the Queen’s Athletic Field oval or through the forest at Kivi Park on Nina's Way skating path

Hill Time!
The City of Greater Sudbury operates two ski hills for the enjoyment of residents of all ages! It doesn't matter if you are a beginner or a pro, you can keep active when the cold weather hits by skiing or snowboarding at either Lively or Adanac Ski Hills. Register for Fun Day Camps ranging from 1 to 5 days offered throughout the season, pending weather and hill conditions. Check website regularly for full details. www.greatersudbury.ca/play/ski-hills
