Janelle has a Bachelors in Fine Arts from the University of Ottawa and a Masters in Museum Studies from the Université du Québec a Montreal. Prior to moving to the Sault Janelle worked for 8 years as the Digitization, Publishing, and Rights Coordinator at Glenbow Museum in Calgary. In the Sault Janelle is best known as the Paint Nite Sault Ste. Marie Licensee, organizing more than 700 painting events in bars and restaurants around town and contributed in raising more than $75,000 for local charities and organizations through her Paint Nite fundraisers. She is also involved with numerous grass-roots organizations including Startup Sault and recently started a new business, an online board game store called Meeple & Sheep to help families spend less screen time and more quality time together.
