BIG Summer Festivals in Northeastern Ontario

As a premier destination for festivals in Northern Ontario, it's promising to be a fantastic lineup of events in Northeastern Ontario this summer! Whether you're looking for a musical experience, or a more culturally uplifting exploit, there's an event planned to suit you. Plus, as we're only 3 1/2 hours from Ontario's major cities of Toronto and Ottawa (see map), we could easily become your next weekend getaway.

New Liskeard Bikers Reunion

July 1-3, 2016

The New Liskeard Bikers Reunion is a fun, family-oriented weekend celebrating the sport of riding motorcycles. It also fundraises to help people who are battling cancer through the Temiskaming Hospital Community Cancer Care Unit. Last year $120,000 was donated to the Cancer Care Unit as part of their efforts!

Northern Lights Festival Boreal - Sudbury

July 8 - 10, 2016

July 14-17, 2016

River & Sky is not a folk festival, but it has a folky feel. It's a friend and family friendly festival, with a simple mission to be all about the music, camping, swimming, and hanging out. Mattawa Voyageur Days

July 22 - 24, 2016

'Rock Where the Rivers Meet' this summer with Mattawa Voyageur Days. This year brings another phenomenal lineup, be sure to check their website for updates! Watch these acts grace the stage set in Explorers Point, where the Ottawa and Mattawa Rivers converge. Summer in the Park North Bay

July 28 - 31, 2016

Summer in the Park promises to be three days of family fun, on the beautiful North Bay waterfront. This year's lineup is still being announced, but one act that has been announced is headliner Hedley. The whole weekend is filled with great events including the Million Dollar Hole in One!

Windsong Music Festival

Aug 26 -27, 2016

Windsong welcomes music fans wanting a unique opportunity to get 'up close and personal' with amazing indie-Canadian artists. Camping is available on the rural Powassan site, to complete the festival experience. To keep it a small, intimate setting only 250 tickets are available for purchase.
