Touring riders are familiar with The Rock (recently under new ownership, it was called The Shop), a lightning rod for all things Harley-Davidson, from bikes to gear to hosting a ton of rider events.
The Shop in Sudbury, Ontario
The Shop is less than half an hour from Sudbury Airport. If you're considering flying in, you can cab it or take one of the hotel shuttles to the Hampton Inn. From there the staff at The Shop can pick you up and take you directly to the dealership to finish up the paperwork and send you on your way. Sudbury is the perfect launching point for your Northern Ontario tour. Taking Highway 17 west will lead you to the winding paths of Algoma Country, or to Highway 6 and the Georgian Bay Coastal Route. From there you can hop on the Chi-Cheemaun ferry and visit Grey-Bruce counties. Or head east out of Sudbury and experience one of the many routes exploring the Near North and Ontario's Wilderness Region, like the Lake Temiskaming Circle Tour or Mattawa-Ottawa River Run.
