Don’t Miss the Parade of Power

Poker Run in Sault Ste. Marie

This August, race to Sault Ste. Marie’s waterfront where over 40 high-performance power boats will be ripping and roaring through the channel for a chance to win the coveted 2017 CanAm President’s Cup.

The action begins on Friday, August 4, when visitors will have a chance to see these high performance racing boats up close and meet their owners at the Bondar Marina and Pavilion. There will be plenty of food and beverages on-hand, display booths and some amazing live music to get you in the spirit.

The next day, Saturday, August 5, is the day you’ve been waiting for—Poker Run Day. Throngs of onlookers will line the St. Marys River to watch the Parade of Power, before the boats take off into the North Channel of Lake Huron. Then, after the races on Sunday between 11 am and 1 pm, make a charitable donation and get a chance to take a spin in one of these monster boats yourself.
