Cochrane & Area
Flood’s Landing Camp
The Flood’s Landing Campground in the northern community of Cochrane accommodates tents and trailers with riverfront lots available—all part of “130 acres of the serene northern wilderness.” Sites are spacious, and intrepid campers can even carry their gear and camp out beside a rushing waterfall on the Frederick House River! Fishing is fantastic, and there are extensive wildlife viewing opportunities.

Twin Lakes Camping
Offering great beaches, multiple playgrounds, a 220-foot water slide, change rooms and public washrooms, Twin Lakes Camping is a wonderful camping option for the busy family in Moonbeam along Highway 11. The entire facility is also wheelchair accessible, including the on-site paving-stone walking path that passes through the site. Located to the northwest of Cochrane, this area offers true northern wilderness.

Manitoulin Island & the North Shore
Agnew Lake Lodge
Located on the beautiful Agnew Lake just north of Webbwood, Agnew Lake Lodge offers camping sites with water and hydro services included. Families and outdoor enthusiasts will love taking advantage of the sandy beach area, volleyball/badminton courts, berry picking, and great fishing opportunities. Boat rentals are available.

Batman’s Cottages & Campground
Located in Sheguiandah, Manitoulin Island, Batman’s Cottages & Campground boasts safe, clean, family-fun camping experiences since 1969. Un-serviced tenting lots are available, as well as serviced lakefront lots and pull-thru lots available for trailers on the shores of Lake Huron. Visitors will enjoy the recreational hall, on-site hiking trails, a swim-up dock, equipment rentals, and more.

Gordon’s Park
Gordon’s Park is an officially designated Dark Sky Preserve on Manitoulin Island, and offers exceptional night sky viewing opportunities completely free of light pollution and white light. Their main campground is affectionately called the “forest campground” due to its location in a pristine hardwood forest. Gordon’s Park has plenty to keep your friends and family occupied for your entire stay, from hiking trails to mini-golf to a playground and a pool.

North Bay, Nipissing & Mattawa Area
Fish Bay Marina
Campers who love to fish will be pleased to discover Fish Bay Marina – located on the world-class fishery of Lake Nipissing complemented by a full-service marina. Rentals are available. Centrally located on the south shore of the lake, the communities and attractions of North Bay, Powassan, Callander, and Trout Creek are just minutes away.

Look forward to grassy campsites, northern wilderness, and a ton to do – all just 3.5 hours north of Toronto outside of Algonquin Park in Powassan. Von Doeler’s Ranch Overnight Pack Trips
Von Doeler’s Ranch in Rutherglen isn’t a campground, but they will take you out on guided overnight-camping trips on horseback! Boasting trips that are “rough, rugged, and guaranteed a good time,” you’ll choose from one- or two-night trips on the trail. Meals are included, and you’ll get the experience of helping to prepare your horse for travel and setting up camp. Cook over an open fire, watch the sunset and experience a taste of life on the trail.

Carol Campsite & RV Park
Conveniently located just off Highway 69 heading into Sudbury, Carol Campsite & RV Park is a family-oriented campground on the shores of Richard Lake. Offering full services, a marked swim area and sandy beach, a convenience store, and paddle boat rentals, this facility is a great stopping-off point on your northern road trip adventure.
