We’re serious–you don’t want to miss this weekend. Every year in late November, for one weekend become immersed in a New France-themed Christmas village in Temiskaming Shores, and we guarantee you’ll come away with a bolstered sense of holiday spirit!

Think costumed performers, cozy fire pits on the streets; an incredible variety of food, beverage, and product vendors—and evening entertainment on Friday and Saturday nights: a New France Christmas. Friday night will feature local talent at the Community Hall, and Saturday night is everyone's favourite—the holiday parade.

The Village is also an ideal place to start or finish up your holiday shopping, find that perfect piece of décor for the table, or try a traditional French Canadian dish. But it's not just about shopping—bring the whole family for a day of activities ranging from animal displays to axe throwing.

While the event may be New France-themed, there is a range of cultural experiences to enjoy during your visit. Local Indigenous artists and craftspeople will be on-site exhibiting drum songs, traditional canoes, handmade goods, and more. And you can experience it all first-hand at Village Noël.

Luckily, you don’t just have to take our word for it—these phenomenal photos will let you see for yourself!
