Lake of the Woods Brewing Company Presents:

Kenora's famed brewery starts off fall in a big way by holding its first ever Oktoberfest Street Party.

What you need to know about this event:

Oktoberfest is a massive festival in which millions of people get together to celebrate all things beer and fall. The event began in Europe some years ago and has since spread to communities, large and small, all over the world.

After the enormous success of last years Oktoberfest gathering in Kenora, Ontario, Lake of the Woods Brewing Company has declared that they will be closing down Park Street on October 3rd, 2015 for a celebration too big to be held indoors. This festival is going to be the largest the Brew Co. has put together to do and is one that cannot be missed.

The festivities will begin at 9am with an Oktoberfit Feats of Strength competition for those eager early-rising Oktoberfest enthusiasts. The beer garden opens at 11am where partygoers can enjoy fresh, locally brewed craft beer straight from the keg as well as partake in German Village games. Winnipeg's very own 20 piece German Club Band will also be playing at the event going on at 4pm and again at 7pm.
