Why not indulge in a food-tasting hop and give these amazing culinary geniuses and their incredibly flavourful and delicious recipes a try? It's on my list of things to do this summer and I can't wait to taste test them all!

"It would be an understatement saying that I am proud of Aaron Gridzak and Erik Nowak for pulling this off in such short fashion. It would also be an understatement to say the food was good because it wasn’t just good…it blew me away. If you don’t know what place I am talking about, it’s Big Daddy's on Great Northern Road.
I ordered the RBC...a roast beef, caramelized onions, spring mix and cheese miracle with a perfectly paired sauce that pulled all the elements together for a sandwich that can be served in a Beverly Hills bistro let alone a food truck located in Northern Ontario.
I was so famished that sadly, this masterpiece didn’t show up for its photo shoot.
There’s an upside to this tragedy, however. My wife, Jeannette ordered the Big Daddy Burger, a safe choice for any novice food truck explorer. It was a simple bacon cheeseburger with the works but I was pleasantly surprised to see what they did with the bun. You’ll just have to visit to experience it. My lips are sealed.
Anyway, I digress. I managed to not only snap a couple shots of this carnivorous perfection, but she even let me grab a couple bites. Let’s just say I was willing to fight her for the rest. Cooked and prepared to perfection on all accounts, the Big Daddy Burger may have me going back for dinner.
As you can probably tell, our first experience at Big Daddy Burgers will be one of many great ones; a simple comfort food spot I can sink my teeth into."

How many of us can say that we started our first successful business when we were under twelve years old? Well, for Lily, Claudia and Brendan partners and owners of Lily's and Claudia's it's a reality! The trio opened their ice cream parlor in June of 2014 and already it's the talk of the town. With a keen sense for business, which the team inherited from their parents, it's no wonder that their ice cream parlor is showing no signs of slowing down.
You can't miss this dynamic and lively bunch that brighten up Mill Market with their big smiles and colourful uniforms. You'll find Lily, Claudia and Brendan serving ice cream every Mill Market day. Open in June on Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 pm until 6 pm and July and August, Wednesday through Sunday from noon until 6 pm. But don't worry, these kids will be out enjoying summer and having fun like their peers on their days off!
In keeping with the local food mantra of Mill Market, you'll only find fresh locally made ice cream at their shoppe. Customers can choose from Mint Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter Chocolate, Vanilla, Butter Pecan, Rolo, Strawberry, Cookies and Cream, Raspberry Lemon-Lime Sherbet served in a cup, cone or waffle cone! New this year are vanilla or chocolate Chapman's ice cream cups that are peanut free! Can't decide? Take some advice from the experts! Brendan would recommend Peanut Butter Chocolate, Claudia loves Rolo and Lily is crazy about Cookies and Cream.
