What’s New in Motorcycling This Year: Canada 2025 Edition

The 2025 motorcycle season is here, and there’s plenty to be excited about in Canada! With Canadian manufacturers making notable advancements, a season of great events on the horizon, and incredible touring opportunities, this year is shaping up to be an unforgettable one for riders.
Can-Am has re-entered the motorcycle market after a 40-year absence with the all-new Origin and Pulse, two electric models designed for both adventure and city riding. Havoc Motorcycles, Canada’s own heavyweight street bike manufacturer, continues to make waves with its Gunfire and Dragoon choppers. Meanwhile, the Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) promises another adrenaline-packed season of high-speed racing.

Superbike Racing Heats Up
The Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) continues to be the premier road racing competition in the country. Established by Professional Motor Sports Productions (PMP) owner Ross Millson of Hamilton, the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship (CSBK) is the national motorcycle road racing competition held across Canada, at different locations throughout the year. The championship has grown into a high-intensity, multi-event series showcasing some of the most talented riders in the sport. With races held at top tracks across the country, fans can expect edge-of-the-seat action as superbikes hit insane speeds, leaning into corners just inches from the asphalt. If you love speed and precision riding, this is one series to follow.

Can-Am’s Big Comeback: The Electric Revolution
After a 40-year absence from the motorcycle market, Bombardier’s Can-Am brand is back with two all-new electric motorcycles: the Origin and the Pulse. The Can-Am Origin is a dual-sport electric bike designed for both on-road and off-road adventures. With 0-60 mph acceleration in just 4.3 seconds, a 90-mile (145 km) range, and Level 2 fast charging (20% to 80% in 50 minutes), this bike is built for performance and convenience.
City-focused electric cruiser the Pulse has a lightweight design, 47-horsepower motor, and a 100-mile (160 km) range. Like the Origin, it features quick charging and a smooth, quiet ride.
