You Won't Want to "Skip" This One!
Defending Canadian Women’s Curling Champions will be bringing it home to Canada to defend their crown and title against the world this March!
Cozied-up on the shores of Lake Nipissing in Northeastern Ontario, this year's championship will be held in picturesque North Bay at Memorial Gardens (100 Chippewa Street West). With diverse restaurants to choose from, a wide range of accommodation options, beautiful winter vistas, and a full entertainment schedule for the week, visitors will surely come for the curling and stay for the atmosphere!
The Event
Skipped by Jennifer Jones, the Winnipeg-based Team Canada will be facing off against 12 other teams for the title. Coming from China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia, Scotland, South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland, and the United States, the field is as diverse as it is talented.
Round robin draws begin Saturday, March 17 and proceed through right through until Friday, March 23. After each draw, the party will shift over to the World Famous Patch, located just a short shuttle ride away at the nearby North Bay Granite Club. It will be open to everyone for the duration of the championship. Along with the opportunity to meet face-to-face with the athletes, the Patch will offer live music, dancing, drinks, and food, as well as interactive activities for the entire family.
The championship really heats up Saturday March 24 for playoff action, with qualification matches scheduled all day. Whether you're on-site or tuning in, the event culiminates Sunday, March 25th!

Getting to North Bay
Drive: Located directly at the intersections of TransCanada Highway 17 and Highway 11, North Bay is a quick 3.5 hour drive from Toronto or Ottawa.
Fly: Skip the drive and fly directly into Jack Garland for the day, a 45 minute flight from either Toronto or Ottawa. Find flights with either Porter, WestJet, or Air Canada.
