1. The Greenhouse Spa

Situated in uptown Sault Ste Marie, the Greenhouse Spa has been providing the finest in pampering for just over 15 years. At almost 4000 square feet, the day spa includes two levels and features 12 treatment rooms, water therapy room, five couples treatment rooms, change rooms, relaxation lounges, as well as group manicure and pedicure areas.

Greenhouse Spa is the only spa north of the GTA that has a specialized treatment room featuring the Vichy rain shower. The rain shower is where visitors can experience one of their popular Maple Sugar Body Scrubs, Maple Butter Body Wraps, and Rice Body polishes.

Weddings, bachelorette parties, corporate events, spa retreats, birthday celebrations and various special events have graced this downtown Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario business for over 12 years. Mane Street Salon and Spa had been tucked away in the Square One Mall and grew to the storefront of the building, at 626 Queen Street East, in December of 2013.

Owner, Krista Nolan, has been in the industry for almost 15 years, originally opening her first salon, "Elements of Design," in 2000, shortly after completing her Sault College training as a hair stylist. "I wanted to do things differently," she says. "It was my desire to create my own vision of a salon, so I decided to do it right out of school. Relocating to the downtown core, in 2002, was a great decision, and once again, the business is in the next phase of expansion."
