Remember when Halloween was just one night? Fortunately for those who love all the spooky creativity and fun, Halloween lasts for much of October now. In Sudbury, Ontario, choose from a variety of great Halloween events that are sure to keep the fun going all month long. About a 5-hour drive from Toronto or Ottawa and 3.5 hours from Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury offers great Halloween-themed weekend events that you can easily complement with a few extra days to explore the area’s natural beauty, fall colours and harvest-time treats.

Halloween at Dynamic Earth (featuring Pumpkinferno)

Pumpkinferno is a site to behold and a great way to get in the spirit of the season.

This epic event at Dynamic Earth is back for weekend evenings from October 2 through 30, from 7 pm to 10 pm. Your evening experience will include the ever-popular Pumpkinferno (featuring over 7,000 themed pumpkins), spooky science experiments, a scavenger hunt, witchy crafts, the Big Nickel Show (a light and video production of Sudbury’s history), and the Bug Bistro (yes, edible bugs are on the menu). The Infirmary: A Terrifying Haunted Attraction in Sudbury

From the folks that brought you the former Terror Train comes a new scream park experience in the Greater Sudbury community of Blezard Valley. Northern Screams and the Sudbury Events Centre are joining forces to present The Infirmary, a haunted attraction built to test your nerve, on Saturday, October 10, 2026. Inside its walls, dark secrets wait to be uncovered, and every corner brings the risk of a scream or a sudden creepy encounter.

If you're looking for a scare this Halloween season, The Infirmary is one way to find out how brave you really are. The event starts at 7 p.m., with multiple time slots available. Tickets are on sale now!

Sudbury Halloween Night Market

The 5th annual Amberhill Studio Sudbury Halloween Night Market returns on Friday, October 23, from 5 to 10 pm. Browse spooky art, treats and Halloween-themed goods from local vendors, see live performances and join the costume contest (come dressed for the occasion!). Monster's Ball X

Join Sudbury Burlesque Productions for "Monster's Ball X," a Halloween ball celebrating 10 years of Sudbury Burlesque, at the Sudbury Events Centre on October 29–31. This anniversary production brings back fan-favourite acts alongside brand-new performances, with group numbers, soloists, spooky spectacle, and a dance party that carries on after the show. Come dressed in your most extravagant Halloween attire for a costume contest with more than $1,000 in prizes. The Wandering Witches Masquerade

The Wandering Chapel and Witches & Weirdos invite you to The Wandering Witches Masquerade! This is a 19+ Halloween party at the Polish Combatants' Association Hall on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at 8 p.m. Come dressed as anything you can dream up (costume weapons aren't permitted). Your ticket includes featured performances by local artists, dancing, games, and a late-night pizza and candy bar, with a cash bar on-site.
