Sunday, December 6, 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

C.L.E. Coliseum Building
425 Northern Avenue, Thunder Bay
$2.00 Admission – no charge for children under 12.

With over 60 vendors to visit at the Canadian Lakehead Exhibition Coliseum by Silvercity Cinema, December Dreams is a huge event that hosts over a hundred artists, artisans, authors, bakers, etc. This is a great opportunity to purchase regionally hand-produced items of all kinds from their creators who come from as far away as Kenora West, Terrace Bay East, and points further North.

Held every year since 2008, December Dreams is a big fundraiser for the Rotary Club of Thunder Bay where the minimal door fee of two dollars for anyone over 12 years of age goes to local charities. The Rotary club has over 20 volunteers to serve the general public, setup the booths and tables, supervise the door, assisting the artists, and to keep the place clean.

You can expect to see pottery, paintings, knits, festive foods, Christmas decorations, Santa socks, books, jewelry, beading, woodworking, leather works, stone carvings, photography, handmade fishing lures, and much more.

Many vendors are participating for the first time this year and you can meet the creators at their booths, which is very unlike a shopping mall or box store. You can also haggle and commission artists on the spot. It’s a rare opportunity to see so many artists in one place.
