Stokely Creek Lodge

2017 Hut to Hut Event at Stokely Creek Lodge

February 4, 2017

The Hut to Hut this year will feature our most remote route, the gem of our snowshoe system, the Peregrine Pass. Bob our snowshoe trail developer is taking us on his favorite route, which includes walking up and down through the forest, past and under ice cliffs, with panoramic views of the Algoma Highlands and Stokely’s massive frozen water falls. The only way to get to these places is with Bob, so join the trip. Ski to Stokely Lake hut, snowshoe the Peregrine Pass to the Hakon Lein Hut for lunch and then ski back to the lodge.

Bring a ski bag and a small back pack with dry and proper clothing (gloves, boots dry socks, hats, water bottles, etc) for each portion of the trip. The return ski to the lodge is mostly downhill through the forest. This will be a rewarding day of scenery, exercise, food and friends.

$15 for overnight guests, a $25 fee for season pass holders. Day skiers will pay $40, which includes a discounted day pass. Make your reservations for the Hut to Hut when you book your stay, or as soon as possible. This event fills quickly. This includes transportation of your skis and snowshoes, snacks and lunch and guided tour
