In 2023, the short film Anywhere was filmed in Sudbury, during an exciting multi-day shoot that brought a vibrant wave of creative energy to the region. Beyond the cameras and lights, the production offered a unique opportunity to connect with the talented filmmakers behind the project. Through an engaging conversation, we gained insight into their creative vision, the challenges and inspirations that shaped the film, and what it meant to bring their story to life in Northern Ontario. Following its completion, Anywhere made its debut at Cinéfest Sudbury International Film Festival in 2024, marking a proud moment for both the creators and the local community that helped bring the film to the screen.
