Ontario Motorcycle Routes—A Complete Listing
What follows here is a complete list of the known routes in Ontario, including a write-up on each route and direct links to maps for help in planning your next big trip. Or check out the Ultimate Northern Ontario Road Trip, covering every major road in Northern Ontario and then some! Riders of all persuasions are invited to come along for as much or as little as they like.
Ride Lake Superior
The largest of Ontario's Great Lakes is surrounded on every coast by endless stretches of winding roads, beautiful sights and exciting destinations. Some riders spend years completing the entire Great Lake Circle Tour and these roads are where they'll spend a bulk of that time. Whether you're looking for an adventure of a lifetime or just want to check out some new routes between Sault Ste. Marie and Thunder Bay or Minnesota to Algoma, Northwestern Ontario delivers. Algoma Country
A must for every Ontario motorcyclist, this incredbile part of the province offers roadways winding through awe-inspiring backdrops with breathtaking vistas and crystal clear waters. With four distinct routes to choose from allow the rider to personalize their Algoma adventure. Here is map of the Grand Algoma Tour, one of our favourites.
Ride Northwest Ontario
This is as far west as you can ride in Ontario. The Nor'Wester connects the Lake Superior Circle Tour motorcycle route with the rest of western Canada. It's a in a loop so you can explore different roads coming and going from the west. This map includes a lot of the great sights and destinations to be found.
Ride the North
The legendary landscape of North-Eastern Ontario is rife with wide-open skies and breathtaking vistas you'll never forget. There are five great circle tours offering the most biker friendly attractions, accommodations, restaurants and repair shops along the way. Georgian Bay Coastal Route
The many routes established around Georgian Bay offer many options for vacations or just day trips. Including the awe-inspiring views of the the bay cut out of the Canadian Shield, peaceful country roads, tall pines and the motorcycle friendly Manitoulin Island. Ride Grey-Bruce
Bound by Lake Huron to the West and Georgian Bay to the North, there is a ton of coastline to ride in Grey-Bruce. This picture-perfect tourist region is great for weekend get-aways with different tours featuring delicious food, amazing sights and rich history. Ontario's Highlands
This stunning part of the province between Algonquin Park and Ottawa includes the turns of the winding Opengo Line through Renfrew County. Glorious treetops and their golden hues in autumn make it clear that it's all about the journey rather than the destination. Low-traffic twisty roads abound on this map of the Calabogie Boogie route.
Cruise the Coast: Ontario's South Coast
Warm weather and plentiful beaches make for great summer riding in Ontario's Southwest. Small homes with plenty of wide-open spaces dominate the landscape. Lennox & Addington County: L&A Rides
Just west of Kingston lie the counties of Lennox and Addington. Well-maintained roads offer a great variety of curves and rolling hills, and the breathtaking scenic views are well worth seeing.
