Day 1

Mid Day
Arrive in Sault Ste. Marie, check into your hotel to rest and refresh.

12:30 p.m.
Enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Sault Ste. Marie's restaurants.

2:00 p.m.
Ermantinger. Clergue National Historic Site, the oldest stone building northwest of Toronto dating back to the war of 1812.

3:15 p.m.
Canadian Bushplane Heritage Centre

The city's 25,000 square foot interactive museum was voted the "Best Indoor Attraction" in Canada by Attractions Canada and offers a look at the history of flight and firefighting in Northern Canada. Admire the memorabilia from Dr. Roberta Bondar's Space Mission aboard the shuttle Discovery. Don't miss the exhilarating object theatre and flight simulator for an unforgettable experience.

4:30 p.m.
Depart CBHC and transfer to one of the most visible landmarks on the water, the Roberta Bondar Pavilion and Marina. Wooden sculptures of various animals and fish contribute to the unique landscape of the waterfront, including a life-size moose located near the museum ship, the Museum Ship Norgoma. Our waterfront in the summer months has a steady stream of ocean-going and great lakes freighters pass through the Sault Ste. Marie Locks every day.

Enjoy a delightful meal at one of Sault Ste. Marie's diverse local restaurants.

9:00 p.m.
Transfer back to hotel and enjoy a free evening to explore the city's natural beauty and vibrant cultural community.

Day 2

6:30 a.m.
Breakfast at hotel.

7:30 a.m.
Transfer to the Algoma Central Railway Train Station.

8:00 a.m.
All aboard! Agawa Canyon Train Tour departs with breakfast and lunch included on board train. Relax, sit back and experience the rugged wilderness of Algoma Country. Also enjoy the stopover in the pristine beauty of Agawa Canyon Wilderness Park with trails, restroom facilities, picnic areas and the Bridal Veil Falls, Otter Creek Falls and the Falls.

6:00 p.m.
Train returns to station. Transfer to hotel to rest and refresh or do some shopping at the Station Mall (adjacent to train station).

7:00 p.m.
Transfer to one of many fine local restaurants.

9:30 p.m.
Transfer to OLG Casino Sault Ste. Marie (optional 2 hour visit, with a $25.00 VIP package provided to each guest) Their 35,000 square feet of gaming includes an impressive array of 450 slots and a selection of 16 table games.

11:30 p.m.
Transfer to hotel for the evening.

Day 3

8:00 a.m.
Depart for sightseeing day along Lake Superior. This is a spectacular drive right along the coast of Lake Superior named in National Geographic as one of the "Top Ten Things To Do In Ontario".

10:00 a.m.
Explore the Lake Superior Interpretive Centre - a unique facility located on the captivating shores of the lake, dedicated to the history and geography of Lake Superior.

11:00 a.m.
Depart for the Agawa Rock Pictographs. A moderate hike to the shores of Lake Superior to view the sacred site where generations of Ojibwe natives came to record their dreams and spirits in red ochre. Spectacular ancient paintings that have sustained hundreds of years.

12:00 p.m.
Depart for the Agawa Indian Crafts , The Canadian Carver, a unique retail outlet with one of the largest collections of wood carvings in North America and a chance to browse through a wide variety of gifts, including hand made blankets, quilts, moccasins and other Indian crafts. Ice-cream parlor & convenience shop on site.

1:00 p.m.
Depart for lunch at either the Lake Shore Salzburger Hof Resort (located in Batchawana Bay) featuring authentic German/Austrian Cuisine or Buttermilk Mountain Resort located in Goulais River 10 miles north of Sault Ste. Marie

2:30 p.m.
Located just 5 minutes from Buttermilk Resort, is Treetop Adventures , Double Tap Paintball. Where adventure seekers can walk in the trees and fly down a 400 ft Zipline.

Depart for return trip to Sault Ste. Marie hotel.

4:30 p.m.
Arrival at the hotel with free time to shop Downtown Sault Ste. Marie.

6:00 p.m.
Dinner at local restaurant. This is a city where the number of family owned and operated restaurants, each with their own unique ambiance and culinary delights, reign supreme.

7:00 p.m.
Live entertainment under the Bondar Pavilion on the city's waterfront.

9:00 p.m.
Transfer to hotel for a evening of rest before departure home.
