Follow the NOSHO Cup Celebration Tour Across Sudbury

Who wants to set the tone? Grab the team and take on the NOSHO Cup Celebration Tour in Greater Sudbury. Visit the same local spots where the Blueberry Bulldogs raised the cup and make it your own along the way.

The Bridge of Nations – Paris St., Downtown Sudbury

The bridge proudly displays 90 flags, representing 88 different countries and nations from around the world. It is a celebrated landmark symbolizing our community’s rich ethnic diversity, multiculturalism and shared commitment to unity and peace.

The Beef 'N Bird – 923 Lorne St.

This local sports bar, opened by former NHL’er Jerry Toppazzini, now run by his children, is the place to be on Saturday afternoons during hockey season for Sudbury’s famous Porketta Bingo. Of course, the rest of the week it’s a great place for beers and the game.

Bell Park Splash N Go – Bell Park/Grace Hartman Amphitheatre entrance

Get out on Ramsey Lake’s floating playground and obstacle course. Make sure to stretch before because your body will be flying in every direction.

The Big Nickel – 122 Big Nickel Mine Rd.

No trip to Sudbury is complete without seeing Sudbury’s iconic roadside landmark, the Big Nickel. Standing 9m high, the Big Nickel is on-site at Dynamic Earth, the earth science and mining museum. Descend seven stories underground to learn about the history of mining in the area.

Science North – 100 Ramsey Lake Rd.

Canada’s largest science centre, Science North, offers four floors of science fun for all ages, hands-on exhibits, live animals and more.

Diamonds/The Coulson Night Club – 52 Larch St.

Hit the dance floor at The Coulson Night Club downtown. Grab a drink and stay for the live music from DJs or live bands.

The Townehouse Tavern – 206 Elgin St.

Located beside the Sudbury Community Arena, the Townehouse Tavern is one of Canada’s longer-running live music bars. It offers classic pub food and vegan bites, pool, foosball, and patio games in the summer, and live music, of course.

Wagonwheel Ranch – 2200 Kenneth Dr., Val Therese

Open year-round, Wagonwheel Ranch is family-owned and operated, specializing in wagon or sleigh ride tours through scenic trails surrounded by beautiful Boreal forest. Warm up by a crackling bonfire, roast some of your favourite treats, then visit some barnyard friends.

Northern Ontario Railroad Museum – 26 Bloor St., Capreol

Explore Northern Ontario’s railroading, lumbering and mining history through engaging, educational and entertaining experiences. Open May-September.

Sudbury Kartways – 842 Notre Dame Ave.

Enjoy the one-third-mile go-kart track with single and double seat go-karts, an 18-hole miniature golf course and batting cages. Open seven days a week, from May to October.

Deluxe Hamburgers – 1737 Regent St.

You might hear that Sudbury is a one-arch town. This is a local fast-food restaurant, with a single-arch logo that was built on Regent Street—before the current McDonald’s went up directly across the street—and has not only survived, but thrived. Local favourites include the chicken on a bun dinner and homemade gravy, fresh-cut fries and milkshakes.

Sudbury Water Tower – 87 Pearl St.

(In the show, the tower is seen from the top floor of Elm Place parking garage at 40 Elm St.)

Also known as the Sudbury Peace Tower, named after a local pastor. The water tower, now decommissioned, dons the world’s largest goal light. When the local OHL hockey team, the Sudbury Wolves, scores, it lights up.
