Restaurants are currently offering delivery or curbside pickup. Here’s a list of restaurants that are currently open in some capacity.

Double Eagle Drive Inn & Mini Golf

Located in Lake Helen only minutes from Nipigon, Ontario on Highway 11. Serving homemade burgers, hand-cut fries, bannock burgers, ice cream, poutine, and eagle fried chicken. Don’t miss the homemade fry bread on Taco Wednesday and fresh Pickerel on Fish Frydays!!

Test your skills at the handmade Mini Golf, where you can golf through a bear, brook trout, eagle, moose, and cross the famous Nipigon River Bridge.

They are currently open Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 11:30 am to 9:00 pm.

Retail & Services

Essential services such as gas stations continue to operate with safety measures in place. As retail shops and other services start to reopen the level of service may change. Please contact the individual business for further information.

Lake Helen Gas & Variety

Offers gas, diesel, convenience items, snacks, tobacco products, lottery and is currently operating Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
