Culture Blooms in Greater Sudbury!

THEATRE

You don’t need to know anything about hockey to love the exhilarating, heartbreaking and triumphant true story of courageous Canadian hockey legend, Theoren Fleury. The Art Gallery of Sudbury presents "Brightly Shining Irradiant" by Jocko Chartrand from June 13-September 1, 2019. Brightly Shining Irradiant is an expansive collection of paintings and drawings from 1969 to 2017. These vibrantly coloured works reflect the artist’s multi-media approach to subjects that he has encountered in everyday life. This exhibition focuses on his use of light and colour. LITERARY

Enjoy reading as a family with one of four Sudbury Storytime Trails! The latest edition, Blackflies/Vilains maringouins! by Robert Munsch features Indigenous Illustrations by Jay Odjick and is located at Lake Laurentian Conservation Area. The three other StoryTime Trail locations include Langdon Park, Belzard Valley, Rotart Park, Sudbury, and Hillfield Trail, Lively.
