Restaurants are currently offering delivery or curbside pickup, and as of June 12th, outdoor dining. Here’s a list of restaurants that are currently open in some capacity.

The Edgeview

Make sure to try their delicious dishes which include homemade pies, burgers, pasta, daily specials, and more! They are located at 133 Railway Street and right now are only offering curbside pick-up. They are currently open Monday to Friday from 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm.

Tim Hortons is a fan favorite anywhere in Canada and you can find Nipigon's on Highway 17 on the west side of the Nipigon River Bridge.

Robins Donuts 

The Robins Donuts is located on Highway 17 on the west side of the Nipigon River Bridge. There you can buy convenience items, gas, coffee, donuts, and pastries. They are currently open for take-out only from 7 days a week from 6:00 am to 8:00 pm.

Zechner's Food Market 

This family-owned grocery store makes you feel like you're a part of the family when you walk through the doors! They are extremely welcoming and want to help serve the community as best as they can. They are currently open Monday to Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm - 4:00 pm. 

They offer a wide variety of great dairy products, produce, deli items, fresh floral arrangements, and more!

The Beer Store is located at 154 Railway Street across from the grocery store Zechner's Food Market. They are currently open Tuesday to Saturday from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.

Mannila's Home Hardware

This great hardware store has everything from lumber to women's hair accessories. They are located on Fourth Street and are open for curbside pickup from Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and Saturday from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm.

Canadian Tire

Nipigon's Canadian Tire is the smallest in Canada but has to be the mightiest in service! They offer a wide variety of products from homeware to auto/mechanic services. They are located on First Street and are open for curbside pickup from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm and Sunday 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm.

The General Store

The General Store has almost anything you could ever need! They offer such a large variety of products. Some great items that have in stock include furniture paint (Bee by the Sea), crafting supplies, all of the cords/chargers/adapters you could think of... even for those that have a cassette player in their car!!

They sell lots of great clothing especially for those wanting to show their hometown pride or get a great souvenir with Nipigon-branded clothing. Lots of people also purchase the Hi-Vis safety apparel they offer which is great for work-related tasks.

They are located on Front Street (Main Street) and always enjoy chatting with the public.

Classicut Hair Design

Classicut is open 6 days a week from Monday to Saturday. They open every day at 9 am and closing times vary depending on appointments.

They have a wonderful team of stylists and offer many great products and services including coloring, facial waxing, cuts, and texture services. You can also purchase a large range of retail products for different hair needs, bath and body products, men's products, hair appliances and gifts baskets & gift cards per request. 

They would prefer you to call to make an appointment and will inform you on the necessary protocols when your appointment is confirmed.

Twigs in Bloom

Stopping in at Twigs in Bloom will be an experience you will never forget! It is an amazing shop where you can buy homemade home decor, clothing, and plants. 

They are located at 20 Riverview Street and are only offering outdoor pick-up or delivery. Make sure to call ahead everyone's experience a great one.

Rexall

For all your pharmacy needs make sure to stop at Rexall. They are currently open Monday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.

The Bargain Shop

The Bargain Shop is great for all your retail needs! They offer a wide variety of products from clothing to grocery items. They always have great bargains and the staff is always very helpful. They are currently open 7 days a week from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm Monday to Saturday and until 5:00 pm on Sunday.

The Salon

The owner and hairstylist Analise offers all hair services with the exceptions of perms which includes haircuts, coloring, highlights, and lowlights. She also offers facial waxing. The operating hours vary depending on appointments. For now, appointments can be booked through a phone call or text message.

Her shop is located at 105 fourth street which you can’t miss with its vibrant red door. Analise says she wanted it to stand out just like her favorite shade of lipstick!

Hometown Hygiene

This wonderful business islocated right in the Nipigon District Memorial Hospital at 125 Hogan Road, Nipigon. The office is located across the hall from the long term care dining room.

Hometown Hygiene is open throughout the week and hours may vary depending on appointments. However, Saturday and Sunday the office is closed.
