Wings Over the County—Honda Canada and Motorcycle Experience Celebrate Impressive Milestones

 

 

Honda Canada and TSN’s Motorcycle Experience are throwing a birthday party at the end of the month and motorcycle fans are invited to come out and join in the celebration. This fall marks the official kick off to the 40th anniversary of the Honda Gold Wing here in Canada while the long running national TV motorcycle magazine has been cranking out The Experience coast to coast on TSN for 25 years. Together Honda Canada and Motorcycle Experience will mark these two incredible milestones on Saturday, September 27 at the Hillier Creek Estates winery in Prince Edward County, Ontario. The event titled, Wings Over The County is a tip of the hat to both the long running Honda Gold Wing and show host Dave Hatch’s neighbours over at the 8 Wing Air Base in nearby Trenton.

 

 

 

 

“Honda Canada has really stepped up to make it a real Wing Ding”, said Hatch. Honda Canada will bring out their full up demo ride program to the winery so fans of the company’s new motorcycle line up can sample the very latest products Honda has on offer. “I’m not quite sure where we’ll park all the motorcycles” said winery owner Kemp Stewart, “but we’re thrilled that they’ve chosen our vineyard as a site for this special celebration.” Stewart, a retired military officer, is an avid motorcycle fan and currently rides a Triumph Bonneville, but says several years ago he also owned a Gold Wing. “I still love the Gold Wing,” said Stewart “because they set the standard for touring machines and they’ve always been a great way to travel and see the country.” According to Hatch, “If you had told me back in 1989 when we first went on the air on TSN that we’d be doing this for 25 years, I’m not sure I would have believed it! It’s been an incredible ride and I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone out at our event and being able to say thank you for supporting our TV show for all of these years.”
