Can you smell what downtown Sudbury is cooking?

Each Labour Day weekend Ribfest takes over Downtown Sudbury in support of Sudbury YMCA Strong Kids Campaign. The weekend will include live entertainment from more than 20 performers as well as Festival Foods, Craft Vendors, Children Activities and a Car & Motorcycle Show. The ‘main course’ of the event will be outstanding barbequing, provided by six competing teams.
Attendees are encouraged to rate the ribs, chicken and sauce of the competitors at the Downtown Sudbury Booth, with awards being announced on Sunday evening.
While over one tonne of chicken and ribs are eaten each year, there is more than meat at this annual festival. You'll find deep fried Mars Bars, twisted taters, and countless other goodies! Downtown Sudbury’s Rib Fest is made possible by its hard working volunteers and community members! It is this dedication and community support which has made Downtown Sudbury’s Rib Fest one of the top 5 in Canada! Fill your stomachs and show your support at this year's Sudbury Ribfest!
