What To Expect at The Backroads Ramble 2025

The Backroads Ramble isn’t just a motorcycle event—it’s a weekend-long adventure with your favourite kind of people: women who ride! You'll get epic rides through winding backroads, lazy afternoons by the lake, and nights filled with music, campfire stories and good times. Twist the throttle, unwind by the fire, and kick back with a cold drink and new friends...this event is all about good vibes, great rides, and memories to take home.

Scenic Rides, Coastal Vibes: Ride the Best Motorcycle Routes in Southern Ontario

A major highlight of the weekend will be group rides through the region’s picturesque backroads, including Cruise the Coast and The European Tour—two popular routes that wind through beautiful small towns and along Lake Erie’s scenic shoreline. These curated rides will give participants the chance to explore Southern Ontario’s gorgeous landscapes while stopping to support local businesses and communities.

More Than a Ride: Community, Connection, and Adventure

“Women riders are looking for spaces where they feel included, supported, and free to just enjoy the ride,” says event organizer Orla Kipling. After attending similar gatherings across North America, Kipling saw the need for a women-focused motorcycle event in Southern Ontario. “This weekend isn’t about what you ride or how long you’ve been riding—it’s about building community and making memories together.”

Expect more than just motorcycles: on-site yoga, tattoo artists, swimming, and impromptu storytelling sessions by the campfire are all part of the experience.

A Community-Driven Future: How To Join The Backroads Ramble

With an eye toward expansion in future years, The Backroads Ramble hopes to grow into a cornerstone event for the women’s riding community across North America. It's a celebration of independence, strength, and connection—with the added bonus of summer sunshine, starry nights, and winding roads.
