New Liskeard Bikers Reunion

July 1 - 3, 2016
The New Liskeard Bikers Reunion has become one of the Region’s most iconic motorcycle events. It began in 1999 as a fundraising event benefiting the Temiskaming Hospital Community Care Unit to help in the battle against cancer. The highlight event is the Freedom Ride, which is a 120 km scenic tour, where thousands of people line the streets to watch the 12 miles of motorcycles cruise by. Other events include demo rides, parasailing on the waterfront, monster truck rides and musical entertainment.

Ride for Memories & Show ‘N’ Shine - Timmins

Car shows, comedy, and an epic 90-minute ride...what better way to spend a weekend? The Ride for Memories is a fundraising event for the Alzheimer Society of Timmins Porcupine District Inc. The event’s second edition will feature a show and shine for classic, new, and sport vehicles, as well as a late afternoon ride. The day ends with a dinner and comedy show.

Ride Manitoulin - Providence Bay

July 15-16, 2016
While Manitoulin is becoming known as a cyclist’s paradise, it certainly remains a motorcyclist’s dream thanks to the breathtaking views around every twist and turn. The Ride Manitoulin weekend event features a charity poker run, adventure ride, live music, a dirt bike race, and so much more. Proceeds from the bike rally are donated to the Starlight Children’s Foundation.

Freedom Rally - Sudbury

July 29-August 1, 2016
The 23rd Annual Freedom Rally is a fundraising event to support local children’s charitable causes. Taking place at the Mine Mill Campground on Richard Lake Drive, participants are invited to camp out in their tents or trailers while they enjoy nightly wiener roasts, bonfires and entertainment. Guided tours, a Saturday night dance, and a catered banquet are also on the agenda. Riders can win prizes when they put their skills to the test with challenging motorcycle games.

Temiskaming Drag ‘N’ Fly Summer Classic - Earlton

August 5-7, 2016
Start your engines! The Temiskaming Drag ‘N’ Fly Summer Classic is returning for another adrenaline-fueled weekend of fun. Weekend events include a car show featuring antique cars, hot rods, and special interest vehicles, and of course plenty of racing! Drag races include cars and trucks, as well as motorcycles and drag sleds. On-site camping is also available.

Independent Motorcycle Corporation’s Ride for a Friend Charity Poker Run - Sudbury

Live music and big prizes are waiting for participants at the 4th Annual Ride for a Friend Charity Poker Run. Each year the Independent Motorcycle Corporation raises funds for a deserving family with a special needs child. This year’s goal is set at $10,000. This poker run is open to all makes of motorcycles as well as classic cars. There will also be a 50/50 draw and door prizes for those who are feeling lucky!

GWRR Color Run - North Bay

The Blue Sky Wings Chapter GWRR Color Run offers riders three great loop options for cruising, ranging from approximately 200 km to almost 300 km in length, with all rides starting from the Clarion Resort Pinewood Park in North Bay. Other weekend highlights include a roast beef dinner served on Friday Night, followed by free casino games, as well as a buffet supper, auction, and karaoke challenge on Saturday.

VMUTS Fall ATV Rally & Poker Run - Mattawa

Get out and explore the Voyageur Multi-Use Trail System surrounded by fall colours and other like-minded riders! The VMUTS Fall ATV Rally & Poker Run includes a three-day trail pass, as well as meal vouchers, a buffet dinner, Night Ride, and Poker Rally. The Mattawa Fire Department will also be hosting an ATV wash on Saturday afternoon if you run into some mud along the way!
