Don't Let Winter Pass You By—How to Find Snow in 2016
With less than ideal winter weather conditions plaguing Central and Southern Ontario most riders have hung up their helmets and taken to social media to complain about the lack of snow. I don’t know what’s more annoying, brand bashing or weather bashing.
The real diehard riders are grabbing life by the handlebars and FINDING the snow. It’s not that difficult I promise. Hop online to groups like Sledcore Mulisha (Ontario’s Sled Army), Ontario Snowmobile Riders Group (OSRG), What A Ride and your favourite OFSC pages to stay up to date on the best locations for riding and don’t be afraid to ask people where the snow is!
Even with this warm and rainy weather, Ontario is still home to the best sledding conditions, you just have to look for it. Rather than complain about the rain I took to social media to ask my fellow Facebook friends, “Where have you been riding?” And the response was almost shocking! Check out some of the places they’ve been hitting up this winter and plan your next snowmobile TRIP instead of your next snowmobile season.
So get online, find the snow, trailer up and ride. If you want to enjoy the season it's really up to you!
